QBS_01 === Québec Bush Scenery for FS9
St.Gabriel-de-Brandon === CSS5

This scenery is self Supporting though I recommend the use of Lago Scenery Enhancer that I use for the sounds and also a few objects. See Lago folder for details.

Should work fine in FS2002 as well but READ the note in the installation. The sounds will not work in FS2002. The few Lago objects will not either. Some of the parking and apron will be different.

=======================================

Québec Bush Scenery is actually the same as Québec Short Hops. These sceneries are further North and cover the Laurentian region. The new name is only to help locate those sceneries situated in 'bush country'.

KNOW ISSUES:(those lines are to keep the bug chasers happy)

The errors in the grounds like rivers not joining properly in the lake, is Microsoft's doing and I do not know yet how to fix this.

You will notice that the objects (like the plane wheels), inside the hangars are a bit sunk in the floor. I cannot help this. It is not that bad at all.

Off the runway, here and there you will find the hay pretty long. Looks nice this way. You may encounter here and there some little jumps....hope you have your belt on. By the way, try to drive up and down the roads in your old car or whatever...

Nit pickers and bug chasers are NOT welcomed to send me their comments. You do not like it, sorry, I will double your money back if need be.

I create my sceneries in summer recommended for its best use.

If I notice a way to improve an item or a texture, even if this item or texture is used in a previous release, I reserve the right to change it anytime.

========================================

Québec Short Hop and Québec Bush Sceneries are aimed at making VFR flying in Québec more pleasant and attractive as I can make it. So far, for FS9, I have created a few sceneries along the St.Lawrence river and also in the Beauce region and now, I am spreading around Montréal. These sites are close enough so you can hop from one to the other using the lighthouses and other aids. I have also made a few sceneries for the Washington State.

You can upload any of the sceneries if you make a search at either AvSim of FlighSim.com and search for author Leon Louis.

=========================================

I wish to thank John de Langristin for his automobiles. I also thank Robert Palmer for his trees, horse and deer. I thank Tom Fica for his nice vehicles and old fuel barrel. I also thank Frank Betts for the work bench and engine hoist. Thanks also to Jim Jackson of Northern Exposure for the picnic tables and to Einar Aarvik for the nice Ford panel.

Thanks also to Bill Derenburger for testing the beta version.

I must not forget Tom Hiscox and Brian McWilliams for the program "Airport for Windows" and also Matthias Brückner for the program EOD which I used to make my macros. I thank also Martin Wright for the program DXT. I also thank Lee Swordy for the program afcad.

I hope I did not forget anyone. If so, I am deeply sorry and please send me a note.

I N S T A L L A T I O N FOR ALL MY QUÉBEC SHORT HOPS SCENERIES
and ALL MY QUÉBEC BUSH SCENERIES

For the LAGO sounds and scenery installation, please refer to the LAGO folder. FS2004 ONLY.

NOTE: Treat the Québec Bush Scenery exactly as if they were Québec Short Hops.

If you do not have a Quebec Short Hops folder "Quebec SH9" where you usually install your sceneries, you must make one and make also one subfolder named scenery and another named texture.

You should then have:

xxxxxxx/Quebec SH9/scenery
/texture

As many of my textures are repeated from one scene to the other, this will use lot less room on your hard drive.

During installation overwrite when prompted to do so.

Place the CONTENTS ONLY of the scenery folder in the above scenery folder you created.

Then, do the same with the CONTENTS ONLY of the texture folder to go into the texture folder.

For FS2004 ONLY, place the CONTENTS ONLY of the addon_scenery folder (if any is included with the download) into:

xxxxxxx/Flight Simulator 9/Addon Scenery/Scenery

Place the CONTENTS ONLY of the effects folder (if any is included with the download) in the Effects folder of your Flight Simulator.

You need to activate Quebec SH9 in the scenery library if not already done.

That is all.

Restart Flight Simulator and welcome to "La Belle Province"

Thank you

Enjoy your visit
